Dom Pérignon Creators - Berlin Event

On June 4th, 2012, “Divine Coalescence” was premiered at Bärensaal Berlin. International curator Leo Kuelbs, the video mapping artists of Glowing Bulbs and opera singer Nadja Michael built the artistic architecture for this unique video art orchestration. Prior to the showing of “Divine Coalescence”, which will stay the only performance to be seen in public, hundreds of photos were taken in Hautvillers and Versailles to build the base for this unique piece of art. Nadja Michael acted as the artistic counterpart by performing her self-composed song “Day of the Days”.

Amon Tobin : ISAM Live 2.0

by Ninja Tune

Picking up from where Amon Tobin’s ISAM Live left at the end of 2011, the immersive A/V show made an even bigger imprint on the world of electronic music in the past months. ISAM Live started off 2012 with rapturous response at two Coachella headline performances this year. Overseas, a sold-out night at London’s Brixton Academy was shortly followed by a tour run in Australia, which included two sold-out back-to-back performances at the iconic Sydney Opera House in June. The performances, which were streamed live from Sydney, accumulated over 500,000 views. ISAM additionally made a hugely celebrated appearance at Sonar festival in Barcelona on June 15th.

For the Autumn run of dates throughout America, ISAM Live 2.0 will launch: introducing the new ISAM construction, enhanced with new audio and visual elements. Part of the new content in the ISAM Live show will be composed of forthcoming Two Fingers material. Tobin will be revealing new music from his beat-oriented alias, in celebration of the highly anticipated sophomore album due this Fall on Big Dada. All past ISAM Live shows have sold out, so get your tickets now or be lost in the dust come fall.

Projections of Sacred Geometry 2: Flower of Life Projection Drawing by Integrated Visions

In their latest series, Michelle and Bryan address the timeless subject of sacred geometry in a fresh way by merging two drastically different disciplines to have a powerful effect on the viewer.   These drawings of ancient sacred geometric patterns on paper are brought to life by projecting video-mapped animations onto them. Each of these patterns has significant meaning to ancient cultures, philosophers and mystics.  By combining the traditional medium of drawing with the emerging technology of projection mapping,  Michelle and Bryan are able to highlight the symbolic meanings and hidden relationships found in these timeless patterns. Ratios found within sacred geometry are echoed in nature, from the development of crystalline structures to the branch patterns of trees.  As the viewer meditates on these works the relationship between sacred geometry and nature become increasingly clear.

Speed Of Light

by Nexus

The world’s smallest all action police chase…

Directed By The Theory

The tiniest police chase ever seen, made using the world’s smallest ‘pocket video projectors’. Featuring an escaped convict, a determined cop and a fully armed police helicopter, Speed of Light takes ‘projection mapping’ to a whole new (and low) level.

Speed of Light was all projected and filmed FOR REAL - there’s no CGI trickery.

- The car and helicopter are toys bought from a model shop filmed against greenscreen.
- As well as using the world’s smallest projectors from MicroVision, we also partially filmed using the world’s smallest HD camera.

And a Special thank you to Microvision for the projectors -

Philadelphia International Flower Show

by Klip Collective
Klip Collective worked with GMR Design to create projection spectacles of breathtaking visuals and technological innovation to enhance the 2012 Philadelphia International Flower Show. A large “wave-wall” at the entrance of the show invited visitors to walk under a calming display of undulating projection waves of sea creatures and flower blossoms. A central Hawaiian temple featured video-mapped animations and filmed content to tell the story of Pele, Hawaii’s female fire god, and to transform the temple exhibit into a vibrant light experience.
