PAINT UP! 2011 OFF CONTEST SHOW
PAINT UP! was the very first architectural video-projection contest in the world, organized by VisualPower Ltd. and Bordos.ArtWorks, held on 19th June, year 2010 in Budapest, Hungary.
This show was the closing event of the Hungarian Eu Presidency.

A mapping by 1024 Architecture, projected on the facade of former Lyrical theater the “Celestins”.
The building deformations and figures were controlled by the audience, using a microphone and an audio analysis algorythm.

Art Intervention: Sol Lewitt Structures 1965-2006. City Hall Pak, NYC.
Wikipedia defines an art intervention as ‘an interaction with a previously existing artwork, audience or venue/space.’ Integrated Visions Prductions and National Media Services approached the Sol Lewitt exhibition ‘Structures’ in New York’s City Hall Park (sollewitt.publicartfund.org/) with this concept in mind. Utilizing one of NMS’s Projector Man self-powered mobile projection units to redefine the idea of guerilla videomapping, the IVP/NMS team was able to line up the template and accurately videomap the three sculptures seen in this video with about 5 minutes of on-site prep per piece. The results are stunning; the sculptures come, literally, to life.

The biggest Mapping projection on a Cathedral. It is the Cathedral of Palma de Mallorca, celebration in honour of the patron Saint Sebastian.
The public attending (60.000 people) & hundreds of thousands TV viewers (RTVE, IB3, Tele5, TV3) could see a Mapping projection include in a huge event full of fireworks, giants beasts, more than 1000 performers & actors, 100.000 watts of sound, and our mapping projections with 9 massive projectors covering all the lateral facade of the Cathedral.

NOTA BENE Visual - NetWork, 1001 Direk Cistern
February the 17th, 2011
NetWork, an international textile brand from Istanbul, launched its 2011 season with an indoor projection mapping night. The performance venue was a cistern in Istanbul from 4th century which has been constructed during Byzantium Period.
The performance was telling about NetWork’s first fragrance ”TimeLess”, new suit up designs for Summer 2011 and this year’s brand faces; Patrick Petitjean and Sienna Miller.
NOTA BENE Visual crew mapped the floors, cistern’s columns, domes and pile fabric panels at the same time with a special sound design by Joris van Grunsven(Studio Takt), simultaneously at three hallways. The story was telling about the production phase of the new perfume into the cistern and gigantic models invaded the catwalk.
At the final of the TimeLess, perfume part of the performance, the new fragrance were sprayed on the audiences for real.

The canvas was 350ft wide by 40ft tall in the auditorium. Our total pixel map was 12000x1080. In all this took 8 Barco 20k Projectors and a Pandora’s Box system to pull off.
